Current Fixation: Tamagotchis (building a shrine for them!)
Latest News! (14/10/25) Woah, the Tamagotchi Shrine is taking all my time...but it feels like it has derailed into yet another "game-like" thingy with the Photobooth rather than an actual shrine. Oh well, everyone does their own thing I guess. Once I have time I'll start taking pics of my devices, creating a Shrines page, all that stuff.

Hi there! My name's Kolala and welcome to my site! I'm an actual web dev, but TBH that only means I can code anything fairly easily. On the other hand, design might be my passion but it's certainly not my specialty, so I try to learn from the cool sites that other people have.
When I created this place, I didn't have much in mind for it. It was just an attempt to go back to simpler times, when I could just visit creative sites and enjoy the internet without constant rage bait, AI and all that noise.
As I started to tinker with it, I decided I wanted to use it as a code and design challenge, so I created some games and went bananas with the layouts. Now it has evolved into a place where I just drop anything. Eventually I might even post some of my drawings, it's been years since I last did it.
I've deleted all my socials except Tumblr, Pinterest and YouTube. And I only use those to keep tabs on very specific artists so this is the only place where I can be reached.
STUFF I ENJOY
- Walking and taking pics of plants during sunny spring days.
- Reading on rainy autumn days with a soft blankie and hot cocoa-milk.
- Visiting other people's sites and learning about their interests, OCs, art, etc.
- Learning new stuff, mostly by reading (botany, mythology, astronomy, etc.).
FAV GAME GENRES/TITLES
- Cute & cozy, mainly Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.
- Monster-taming, with fond memories of Pokémon.
- Platforming, with Sonic and Spyro at the top.
- Some sandboxes like Minecraft and No Man's Sky.
FAV SHOWS/MOVIES
- Cardcaptor Sakura. Never fails to make me feel better.
- Nightmare Before Christmas. It's also a family tradition to watch it that day!
FAV MUSIC GENRES
- Heavy Metal. I know, weird with this aesthetic but such is life.
- Electro Swing. So peppy! Great for drawing too.
- OSTs from games. For when I want to play but can't.

Reena
Color: siamese, but with hidden tabby stripes in the dark areas.
Size: small girl (short hair doesn't help!)
Birthday: 15/04/2023
^ Flattened bread

This is Reena! She's a smol girl and a scaredy cat. Sometimes she even runs away from us if she suspects we want to do something that she won't like. Most of the time she's wrong, but since we sometimes need to do stuff like clipping her nails or cleaning her eyes, she's not always wrong, so she keeps escaping at random times.
Other than those weird dashes, she's very loving. Every morning she greets both me and my boyfriend, asking for pets and rolling on the floor in the cutest way! Not gonna lie that sometimes she greets us and then leads us to the patio door so we open it.
She spends most of the time outside napping under a bush. It's very convenient, because she's always watching her brother Gaudy and snitches on him as soon as she notices he's trying to find a new escape route. When that happens, she meows loudly and stays near the spot he used to escape, so we also get to know what happened.
Sometimes she meows for no reason, just because she knows it gets her attention. Then she just looks at us going downstairs and, when we reach her location, she leaves. Other times she does it because of the zoomies, usually at dinner time, when she hallucinates things.
Also, just because her brother is the usual suspect, doesn't mean that she doesn't cause trouble. She's an expert thief. No matter how well-closed a container is, she finds a way to open it if it contains chicken. She'll sneak into the kitchen and stay hidden if there's some in there, and will wait for us to leave before trying to steal it.
Note: our patio has walls, high fences and several extra nets. The plants in there aren't poisonous and they only go out if we can watch them. They're never unsupervised. They're also vaccinated, deparasited, chipped and have ID plates with our phones.
FAV ACTIVITIES
- Snitching on his brother when he tries to jump the fencing.
- Sitting in dark places where she's hard to see and then not answering our calls.
- Giving mean looks or mewing dramatically for no reason.
- Asking for pets during breakfast or when we're eating something greasy.
- Finding new ways to steal chicken.
FAV SPOTS
- On mornings, in the greenhouse.
- On afternoons, under bushes and other dark places to hide.
- At night, in the bathroom window if it's hot; otherwise, her bed.
HATES
- Being picked up. She'll push you away while whining.
- Strangers. She gets so scared she doesn't even move.

Gaudy
Color: tabby, but with the stripes on the same dark areas as his sister.
Size: big boy (mostly fluff)
Birthday: 15/04/2023
^ Unfolded, annoyed donut
WIP for extra details
This is Gaudy! He's a big, fluffy boy. He doesn't have a good measure of his strength, so he plays rough, especially with his sister. Make no mistake: she usually provokes him only to hiss at him when he bites too hard. But he's still a brute.
He's very curious and seems brave. But all that bravery vanishes as soon as the people and dogs he spies on aren't outside of a fence. Even if no one is doing anything to him. In fact, we've tried to leash-train him and used a cat backpack, but the moment we cross the gate of our house, he starts crying. No amount of treats gets him to like it.
Most of the time he seems clumsy, except for getting into places where he shouldn't be. He has accessed every corner of the house, including our closets, which he has learned how to open. He has the weirdest technique, but hey, it works. He's also intelligent enough to know that he shouldn't be there so, if you catch him, he'll meow helplessly and pretend he doesn't know how to get out. As soon as you turn your back, he'll get out just fine.
He never goes far, but loves to test the security of our fences and nets. He has jumped at the weirdest angles and given the middle finger to gravity. He has poked holes in our nets. And when none of that works? He just jumps head-first to see if that pushes something out of his way. That said, he climbs to the wall only to spy our neighbors. He doesn't really escape and, as soon as we call him, he returns. We don't scold him so he keeps coming on call. We keep an eye on the patio while he's out, and his sister lurks in the shadows to snitch on him, so he rarely succeeds.
Note: our patio has walls, high fences and several extra nets. The plants in there aren't poisonous and they only go out if we can watch them. They're never unsupervised. They're also vaccinated, deparasited, chipped and have ID plates with our phones. Gaudy is just a handful and spies on us to see if we're watching before trying. We've seen him doing rounds to see where we are.
FAV ACTIVITIES
- Finding new ways to jump over our fencing.
- Annoying his sister and running after her until she slaps him.
- Having epic fights against the leaves in the patio.
- Asking for pets in the bathroom window. Usually, when you need to close it.
- Chirping angrily at birds.
FAV SPOTS
- On mornings, on any sunny spots he can find in the patio.
- On afternoons, under our bed if it's hot; atop if it's cold.
- At night, in the bathroom window if it's hot; otherwise, his bed.
HATES
- Getting more than two pets at a time. He'll melt and slide away if you try.
- Moving fans. He passes behind them with suspicion.
